Deleting a Component Using a Change Rule

You can delete a component by defining a component change rule as follows:

1. Select Modeling | Tools Set Up Component Change. The Component Change dialog box opens.
2. Define a new Change Operation or edit an existing one.
3. Define which component is to be changed. Use the component Search Criteria or Classification Search Criteria.
4. Define the component to which the component will be changed. Select the NONE option from the Component list. The component will not be changed; instead, it is deleted.
5. Confirm by clicking OK.
