Profile Conversion Rule

Define a rule for converting IFC profiles to Vertex BD profiles.

Converted ifc types

Select the ifc types for which this rule will be used:

• IfcBeam
• IfcColumn
• IfcMember

Conversion

Click Select profile, and select a profile to which the IFC profiles of the selected type will be converted from the profile library. In conversion, the center line of the profile remains in place.

If necessary, you can enter the purpose (USE) of the profile in the Use field.

If necessary, you can rotate the profile around its longitudinal axis by entering a value in the Rotate field.
