Direction of dimensioning

This function can be used to define the direction of dimensioning according to which the distance between the elements selected in the model will be measured. You can select one of the following as the direction of dimensioning:

• X - Determines the distance between the elements selected in the direction of the x axis.

  

  If the distance between the points is less than 0, the direction of dimensioning will be automatically set as X, Y or Z.

• Y - Determines the distance between the elements selected in the direction of the y axis.

  

• Z - Determines the distance between the elements selected in the direction of the z axis.

  

• Point distance - Determines the distance between two points selected.

  

• Line direction - Determines the length in the direction of the line selected.
