Set the Default Sheet

If the sheet library has multiple sheet sizes of the same material, you can define the default sheet that will be used primarily in the sheet layer of a structure.

The sheathing layer of a wall panel uses the default sheet set for the material, regardless of the sheet selected for the tool in the sheathing tool library or the height of the sheathing layer.

Note: The program selects the most suitable sheet for the sheathing layer of a wall panel according to its height when no default sheet is set for the material in the sheet library and no sheet is selected for the sheathing tool in the tool library.

For the sheathing tool of a floor or ceiling, you can select the basis on which the sheet is selected from the sheet library.

You can set a sheet of the system library or the custom library as the default sheet. If you select a sheet from the system library, the library is marked in the library browser with the label [Configured]. This means that a single parameter of the sheet has been modified in the library while the library remains otherwise unchanged.

You can set the default sheets as follows:

  1. Select System | Libraries | Libraries. The library browser opens.
  2. Open either of the branches:
    • System Libraries / Structural Sheets
    • Custom Libraries / Structural Sheets
  3. Select a library to see the sheets stored in the library.
  4. Select a sheet, and select Properties from the right-click menu.
    Note: If you selected a sheet in the system library, the menu option is Properties (Configurate).
  5. Set the default sheet by selecting the value 1 in the Default field on the Page 1.
