Add a Part Using a Detail to a Framing

The program will add a framing piece according to the detail selected that is parallel to the frame and the same length as the frame layer. The details have been defined in the framing area assembly library (FRMASSY). A detail contains one or more pieces and their location information.

  1. Select the structure. The structure’s basic layer whose type is FRAMING becomes automatically selected. If necessary, you can select another FRAMING type layer.

    In a wall panel, the function is available only for the sub frame layer.

  2. Select Plane Structure | Framing | Add Profile Add Profile.
  3. Select the location of the framing piece's center line.
  4. If the framing piece is located at an opening, select either of the following:
    • Field - The framing piece will be added only to the side of the opening where you clicked the location.
    • Through area - The framing piece will be added on both sides of the opening.
  5. Select the detail.
