Edit the Sheet Properties
Framer, Floor Framing & Rafters
You can change the way a sheet is displayed in the 2D drawing and 3D model. You can select the properties in a dialog box. When you close the dialog box by clicking OK, the changes will be refreshed in the drawing and the model.
- Select the sheets to be edited.
- Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
- Select Properties.
- Select the properties in the Sheet Properties dialog box.
- Library, Code, Material, Item
- The sheet data is displayed in the text fields. You can select another sheet from the sheet library by clicking Select.
- 2D instance
- When the 2D instance check box is selected, the geometry of the sheet will be displayed in the 2D drawing. In addition, you can select or clear the following properties:
- Cross - The diagonals of the sheet will be displayed in the drawing.
- Cross Section - This feature is not available for a sheathing in a horizontal structure.
- Layer
- If you wish to add the sheet's 2D geometry on a layer other than the default layer, select Layer, and select the layer from the list.
- Installation
- You can define a Mounting property for the sheets of a panel. Select Loose part or Manual from the list. For example, a loose piece is a piece to be mounted at the building site, a manual piece is a piece to be mounted manually in the factory. The property affects the material collection.
- Manuf. Order
- Sheet's order number for production. The sheet can be a part of a sheathing area or a panel.
- Group ID
- The sheets of an area or panel form an order group. The label of an order group is either the label of the panel or, in the case of a sheathing area, a label defined by the user.
