Determining the Shape of Panels

The wall shape in the model determines the shape of the wall panel when the parameter WALLPNL_MODE has been defined in the basic project parameters. The keyword can have the following values:

• WALLPNL_MODE = 1 - The shape of the panel is read from the model. If two walls are on top of each other in the same drawing-model pair, they will be merged and the merged wall shape will be the shape of the panel.
• WALLPNL_MODE = 2 - The shape of the panel is read from the model. Wall on top of each other in the same drawing-model pair will not be merged.

When panelizing the walls, the program will consider the changes made to the shape of the wall frame. You need to note, therefore, that when editing the shape of the wall, you must edit the layer depicting the frame of the wall. Changes made to the exterior siding material, for example, will not affect the shape of the wall panels.
