Use this functions when concatenating a line chain or adding a hatch. Select the function from the additional menu.

Automatic search of limits

The program search automatically line chains starting from the clicked line, and join the line chain as a single line. The program marks the intersection points of the lines. The line limiting the hatch must point in the way of the cursor snap point is inside the continuous area.

Do either of the followings:

  • Concatenating line chain: click the line to be joined. The program searches the line chain automatically, marks it, and  join the lines as a single line, when you select Confirm.
  • Add the hatch: click the line limiting the hatch. The program marks the limiting line. Click the line limiting the hole in the continuous area.

As, an example, add the hatch.

Semi-automatic limit search

The program search automatically line chains starting from the clicked line, and join the line chain as a single line. At an intersection point, the user is prompted to click a direction. The line limiting the hatch must point in the way of the cursor snap point is inside the continuous area.

Do either of the followings:

  • Concatenate the line chain: click the line to be joined. The program searches for the line chain automatically, and marks it. At an intersection point, you are prompted to click the continuation direction. The program connect lines as single line, when you select Confirm.
  • Add the hatch: click the line limiting the hatch. The program marks the limiting line. At the intersection points, the program asks to click the direction. Confirm selected lines by selecting Confirm. After then program prompts you to click the line limiting the hole.

As example, add the hatch.

Manual search of limits

Click the lines of a line chain to be joined as a single line, or the line limiting the hatch area one by one, until is formed a closed line chain.

Do either of the following:

  • Concatenate line chain: Click the lines to be concatenated one by one, and then accept by clicking the middle mouse button.
  • Add a hatch: Click the lines to be concatenated one by one, and then select Confirm. The program prompts you to click the line in the limiting a hole.

As example, add the hatch.
