Update Views

This function can be used to update views created from the 3D model of a building: elevations, cross sections and perspective views. When the view has been updated, it can be added on a drawing sheet. The views are generated from the Elevations.vxm, Sections.vxm and Interior.vxm models. All models are generated from the 3D model of the building, but they include different elements.

1. Do either of the following:
   • Select Output | Drawings | Drawing Update Views.
   • Select the function in the building's document browser:
     1. Open the branch Architectural documents.
     2. Move the cursor on one of the following titles:
        • Sections
        • Horizontal Sections
        • Elevations
        • Interior Views
        • Perspective Views
     3. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
     4. Select Update Views.
2. Select the views to be updated in the dialog box.

   View Tasks - Updating Views

The selected views are opened for editing in separate drawing windows.
