Clip a Wall With a Roof

You can shape a wall by clipping it with a roof. The part of the wall above or below the roof will be cut off. For example, you can clip walls of a one-and-a-half-story building: add full-height walls to the second story and then clip the top of the walls with the roof.

  1. Select one or more walls.
  2. Do either of the following:
    • Select Wall | Connection | Clip.
    • Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu and select Clip with Roof.
  3. Select the edge to be clipped and the clipping roof surface in a dialog box.

Note:
  • When you clip walls with a roof, a connection is formed between the roof and the walls. You can remove the connection by disconnecting the wall from the roof.
