Trimming the End of a Wall Volume to the Side of Another

You can trim the end of a wall volume to the side of another wall volume.

  1. Select a wall.
  2. Select the wall volume to be shaped by stretching or shortening.
  3. Move the cursor close to the edge's middle grip point.
  4. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
  5. Select Trim Wall Volume.

  6. Select the target volume to which trimming is to be performed.
  7. Select either of the following as the side of the target volume:
    • Near - Trimming to the nearest side of the target volume.
    • Far - Trimming to the furthest side of the target volume.

Note:
  • An actual connection between the wall volumes is not created. Therefore, the shaping will not follow when the model is changed otherwise.
