Add a Notch

Framer

This function can be used to create a notch for the beam on a truss. The dimensions of the notch are defined according to the location and cross section dimensions of the selected beam as well as the given gap.

Select one or more trusses.
Select Truss | Truss | Edit Shape Add Notch.
Select the beam.
Select Confirm.
Enter the gaps in the dialog box fields.
Confirm by clicking OK.

Note:

You can delete the notch with the function Delete a Hole or a Notch.
