Align the Texts

Log House Work Drawings

Move the texts of the log work drawing in the direction of the X axis so that they are aligned. Use the function in the log work drawing of a log wall.

  1. Open the log work drawing.
  2. Do either of the following:
    • Select Log Wall Layout | Move Log Labels.
    • Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu, and select Move Log Labels.
  3. Limit the number of texts selected by selecting the text type. Select TYPE from the auxiliary menu.

  4. Select the text types in the dialog box. Only the text types included in the log work drawing can be selected. A log work drawing may contain the following text types:
    • Log number - Log label, formed from the data defined in the LOGHOUSE setup file under keyword lognumber_format. A log label may contain the wall label, number of log tier, serial number of the log and length of the log.
    • Log length - If the LOGHOUSE setup file contains the keyword show_log_length= 1, the length of each log is separately added to the log work drawing regardless of whether the log label contains the log length or not.
    • Regular text - User-added text.
  5. Select the texts to be moved. Select several texts by holding down the Ctrl key or using area selection.
  6. Select Confirm.
  7. Select the location. In the log work drawing, select the point to which you wish to move the texts. Select the point using the cursor, type the coordinates of the point, or use the snap functions in the context-sensitive menu.
Note:
  • You can also use this function to return all texts automatically added to the log work drawing, for example log labels, to their original positions defined in the settings. In this case, select INIT from the auxiliary menu.
  • When you move the texts, the original locating point of each text is placed at the selected point.
