Select the View Editing Mode

This function is used to select the editing mode of a view opened from a drawing sheet.

  1. Right-click in the view drawing to open the context-sensitive menu.
  2. Select Select View Drawing Editing Mode.
  3. Select the editing mode:
    • Inserting only

      The editing mode is a drafting mode, where the existing geometry of the view cannot be edited but, for example, dimensions and lines can be added. The changes made in the 3D model at a later stage can be updated in the view saving the added elements at the same.

    • Editing

      The editing mode, where any changes can be made in the view, for example lines can be removed, but these changes disappear next time the 3D model is updated.

Note:
  • When the view is opened from sheet, the default editing mode is drafting (Inserting only).
