Add a Layer

You can add a new layer to the top or bottom surface of a structure or a structural layer.

1. Select a structure and a layer.

2. Select Plane Structure | Layer | Add.
3. Choose whether to add a new layer above or below the selected layer.
4. Select the layer material from a list.
   • If necessary, change the material by first selecting the function Select material from list. The function opens the list.
   • You can copy an existing material by using the function Select material from another area in the auxiliary menu.
5. Click the points of the edge line.
6. Select Confirm.
