Change a Building Component From the Library

You can change a building component to another component that is in the library. A building component can be a stair, a door, a window, a single window trim, etc.

The locating point of the new component is positioned at the locating point of the component being changed. The rotating and mirroring information of the component to be changed remain unchanged.

1. Select the component to be changed. You can select several components by holding down the Ctrl key or using the area selection.
2. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
3. Select Change Building Component > From Library. The browser is opened.
4. Select a folder in the browser.
5. Double-click a thumbnail image of the component.
