Default Color Fill and Hatch for a Room

When you are using the Vertex BD Architectural or Pro product, you can add a color fill or a hatch to the room. The default color fill and hatch are defined in the ROOMS database. You can edit the default values as follows:

1. Select System | Libraries | Rooms.
2. Edit the default values in the Rooms database view:
   1. Move the cursor on the desired row.
   2. Do either of the following:
      • Click the Color button and select the color in a dialog box. RGB Color
      • Click the Hatch Properties button and select the hatch in the Hatch Geometric Properties dialog box.
        1. Select Room hatch as the property set. The other fields will be refreshed according to the property set.
        2. Select the hatch from the Type list.
        3. Edit the other properties, if necessary.
           • To select the hatch color, click the Color button. RGB Color
           • Select the properties Layer, Pen and Scale.
        4. Confirm by clicking OK.
