Create Your Own Stack Parameter Set Library

Framer

The standard delivery of the program includes a library in which a few stack parameter sets are stored. You can create your own customer-specific library for parameter sets.

  1. Select System | Libraries | Libraries.
  2. Open the branch System Libraries / Other / Stacking.
  3. Select the library Stacking.
  4. Select one or more parameter sets in the right side browser pane.
  5. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
  6. Select Copy to New Custom Library.
  7. Type a description for the library.

In the library browser, the branch Custom Libraries / Other / Stacking is activated, under which is the library you created.

Edit the parameter sets of stacks as follows:
  1. Select the library you created in the left-hand browser pane.
  2. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
  3. Select Edit Library Content.
  4. Edit the properties on the tabs of the database view:
    • General - Edit the name and description of the parameter set.
    • Files - The stack has a pallet when the Pallet field has the text "Pallet". If this field is empty, the stack does not have a pallet.
    • Parameters - Edit the stack dimensions. The final number of stacks depends on the dimensions selected for the stacks. In addition, define the following:
      • Weight - Weight of the pallet.
      • Type - Panels can be stacked horizontally on top of each other or vertically side by side.
        • VERTICAL - Vertical stack
        • HORIZONTAL - Horizontal stack
      • Dimensions based on content - The property is selected by default when the field has a value of 1.
      • Stack based on weight - The property is selected by default when the field has a value of 1.
      • Weight limit - If Stack based on weight is selected, the Weight limit also determines how many panels can fit in the stack.
      • Alignment -The panels you add to the stack can be thought to form a group of panels. Choose how the panel group is placed in the stack box. The value is selected by default in the Alignment field when you select stack properties.
        • LEFT - Left
        • MIDDLE - Middle
        • CENTER - Center
        • RIGHT - Right
  5. Confirm by clicking OK.
Note:
  • System tab is only available if you are a system administrator.
