Roof-Support Connection

You can fix a roof to a beam or a wall so that the roof will follow the change of the beam or wall height.

The roof must be rafter structured.

  1. Select Modeling | Connection | Joint Plane Structure Connect To Support.
  2. Select the roof slope. If you cannot select the desired roof slope, check the structure of the roof. The roof must be rafter structured.

  3. Select a beam or a wall.

  4. Type the seat cut in a text box.

The roof slope will be moved at a height where the seat cut you entered will come true.

Note:
  • You can remove a connection by editing the constraints of the building component.
