The Create a New Library dialog box

The dialog box opens when you are saving a component or building group to a library, and you want to create a new component library or building group library. Select the library on which to create a new component library or building group library. You then return to the dialog box, where you enter the information about the component or building group to be saved:

Template library
Click Select, and select the library to base the new library on. The browser opens. In the left browser pane, select one of the following main folders:
  • System libraries - System’s standard libraries.
  • Custom libraries - Customer-specific libraries.
  • Building libraries - Building-specific libraries. Available when the building is active.
Double-click the desired library. A new library is created based on the selected library.

Type a description of the new library in the text field.
