Texturing Floors and Ceilings
You can apply a texture on the surface of a layer of a floor or a ceiling using a 2D hatch. This allows you, for example, to create genuine-looking paneling on ceilings for the interior views of the building.
- Draw the basic hatch shape.
- Add the floor or ceiling and select the texture properties.
- Select the accurate presentation for the structure.
- Expand the layers.
- Edit the texture properties.
Draw the basic hatch shape
You can use a hatch included in the default software delivery or draw your own shape.
- Draw the basic hatch shape so that the panel's inside surface faces upwards.

- Save the drawing file (*.vxp) in the folder ../custom/macros/areas.
Note:
- The program will create a machining polyline by copying the basic shape one after the other.
- The polyline may consist of individual lines as long as their endpoints coincide.
Add the Ceiling And Select the Texture Properties
