Grid Settings

You can set a rectangular grid on or off when you are adding an element, or when no element is selected.

1. Select the context-sensitive menu function Grid.
2. Do one of the following:
   • Select the appropriate grid values from the alternatives.
   • Define the grid values by selecting the ?,? alternative. Fill in the horizontal and vertical spacing of the grid in the dialog box fields and confirm the data.
   • Set the grid off by selecting the Off alternative.

Note

• The cursor snaps automatically to points on the grid if Snap to grid points is selected in the cursor drafting properties. You can toggle the automatic snap using the keyboard command Shift+G.
• If the automatic snap to points on the grid is off, the cursor snaps to points on the grid by pressing the angle bracket (<) key on the keyboard.
