Copy Attribute Data to Elements

Copy attributes from one element to another. Part data is defined as attribute data that is associated with a certain element type. You can copy the source element data to a target element of a different type.

1. On the tab, in the Mechanical group, select Parts List, and Copy attribute data.
2. Select the element type with which the attribute data has been associated.
3. Select the source element, from which the data is copied.
4. Change the element type by clicking the button if you wish to copy the attribute data to an element of a different type.
5. Select the target element, to which the data is copied.
6. If the target element already has attribute data, you can either replace the attribute data, or leave it as it is.
