Limit Snapping to Elements in a Drawing

You can limit the snapping of the cursor to elements so that it will snap only to a hatch, macro, dimension, projection, group, text, line or several element types.

  1. Open Toolstrip. Tool Strip
  2. Select Selection Filter.
  3. Select the filtering element types and the properties in the dialog box. Selection Filter Dialog Box
  4. Select Confirm.
Note:
  • When adding en element, you can prevent the snapping of the cursor to a drawing line and line points by pressing the Alt key. After selecting an element adding function, first press the Alt key and then click element point in a drawing.
