Open a Backup Copy

  1. Select > Backup Copy > Open Backup File.
  2. Select the document you wish to open. The default folder is ../user/BACKUP. The backup copies are shown in chronological order in the folder.
    • The file -backup is created when you save the document.
    • The file safe- will be created automatically by autosave.
  3. Open the document in the working window by double-clicking the document file.
Note:
  • The document saved with the Save Backup Copy is saved in the ../user folder as workfile.vxm.
