Archives Data of a Model

The part's and assembly’s data on the archive card is divided in three categories: Document label data, Document item data and Document classification data. The grouping is based on the data in the drawing sheet's title area.

Edit the model's archives data as follows:

  1. Select Archives | Documents | Data.
  2. Edit the data in the Archive Data dialog box.
  3. Click OK.

Document label data

Code
The label of the document. When you create a new document, you will specify a name for it. If automatic naming is in use, click the Get button.
Revision
The latest version (revision) of the document. If this field is empty, there are no versions (revisions) of the document yet.
Changes
You can view the document's version history by clicking this button.
Item Code
Item label. If this field is empty, an item has not yet been created of the document.
Used in?
You can click this button to check the product structure and find out in which products this item has been used.

Document title data

Drawn by, Checked by, Approved by
The initials of the document's designer, inspector or approver, max. 6 characters. Define the preselection options in the user register.
Date
The document's creation date entered by the designer. The inspection date entered by the inspector after having inspected the document. The approval date entered by the approver after having approved the document.
Product
This field contains the product (model), to which the document is connected. Define the preselections in the Product and Description Data.
Connected to
This field contains the label of the assembly group, to which the document is connected. Select a model from the archive.
Project
You can save the model in the active project by clicking the A button. This field indicates the project to which the model belongs.
Description
The descriptive text of the document. The description is displayed on the drawing sheet. Define the preselections in the Product and Description Data.
Note If you are connected to Flow, you can edit the description fields in a separate dialog box. Select a button and define the description in the selected language to a separate dialog box's fields.
Description 2, Description 3
Description texts for the document, not displayed on the drawing sheet.
Weight
This field contains the program's weight calculation result.
Weight, Weighted
When the Weighed checkbox is selected, this field contains the weighed weight of the product.

Classification Data

Classification
This field contains the class that defines the model's classification. It can be a part, assembly or a class chosen from the item data.
Main Group
The main group of item classification.
Sub Group
The subgroup of item classification.

Other

Savings history
By clicking this button you can view the saving history of the model, if it has been enabled in the settings.
