Advantages of the Product Structures in Modeling

Before editing an assembly model, you can check the product structure to see in which products a certain assembly has been used. This way, you can see which assemblies will be affected by the changes.

This check requires that the assembly has been saved in a product structure and the corresponding code is known.

Where is this item used?

You can perform the check by opening the model document in the working window.

1. On the tab, in the Documents group, click Data.
2. Click the Used in? button. The program will display a list of items in which the item in question is used.
3. Select Item in the list, and select View.

4. Click OK.
