Use a Line and Points to Define the Sweep Plane
Profile Structure Design
This function can be used to determine the sweep plane based on three points selected from a model. The cursor is constrained to the sweep plane. Profile sweep is performed in the sweep plane when a point has been selected as the position for the cross-section.
- Start adding a profile.
- Click the starting point of the profile.
- Select the sweep plane by clicking the button:  Plane of profile sweep (with line and points). Plane of profile sweep (with line and points).- Select three points or
- Select a line and a point.
 
- Select the elements that define the sweep plane:- Select a line and a point from the model or.
- Select three points from the model.
 
- Click the end point of the profile.

Note: You can undo the sweep plane of the profile defined above, for example
  - By clicking again the button  and selecting the elements defining the sweep plane. and selecting the elements defining the sweep plane.
- By selecting another auxiliary function.
- By pressing the U key or selecting the context-sensitive function: Constraint >  X axis. X axis.
- By pressing the I key or selecting the context-sensitive function: Constraint >  Y axis. Y axis.
- By pressing the O key or selecting the context-sensitive function: Constraint >  Z axis. Z axis.
