View Product Structure

You can open the product structures for viewing and editing by selecting the tab, Databases group, and Product Database.

Select the product structure data for editing by entering the search data. You can view the item structure data by selecting Item Structure as the browsing method.

If you edit product database data using this function, the changes will not be updated in the assembly model data. Data is collected to the model drawing's parts list from the item database only when the Roll-out to End option is selected. Otherwise the parts list data is collected from the model.

Refresh the changed item data of a product structure to the component links by selecting the tab, Databases group, and Application > Update component links.

The Product Structure must not contain a blank item that has minus signs (-) as its code. Blank items will cause errors in the product structures.

Keyboard Commands

The form and functions of the product database can be tailored to meet the user's needs as a customer fitting. Edit the contents of a product database with the functions in the menus, or by using database keyboard commands.
