Zoom a Perspective View

When you zoom with a wheel mouse in a perspective view, the program selects different zoom steps for small (dimensions are a few meters) and large (dimensions are hundreds of meters) models. This enables you to "walk" in the perspective view of a large model while being able to zoom in a small model. When you zoom with a wheel mouse in a perspective view, you can adjust the movement as follows:

  • Slow down by pressing the Shift key.
  • Speed up by pressing the Ctrl key.

The prompt on the status bar shows when the Shift and Ctrl keys are available.

You can set a model to a perspective projection by selecting View | Projection | Perspective.

Note:
  • If the model seems to disappear in the working window, restore the whole model / drawing visible.
