Edit the Wall Frame Tool Library

You can edit the wall frame tool library as follows:

  1. Select System | Structural Libraries | Wall > Framing tools. The Component Libraries database view opens.
  2. Move the cursor to a row in the tool library. For example, the library included in the basic delivery:

    walls/wall_framing | Wall framing library

    Use the Up and Down arrow keys.

  3. Click the Edit Library button. The Wall Framing Attributes database view opens.
  4. Do either of the following:
    • Edit the parameters of an existing tool. Move to the desired tool row using the arrow keys.
    • Create a new tool. Add a row to the database in one of the following ways:
      • Copy an existing row as a basis. Select Edit > Copy Row.
      • Add a new row. Select Edit > Add Row Before or Edit > Add Row After.
  5. Edit the parameters in the database view.

  6. Click OK when you wish to save the data and exit the database view.
Note:
  • System tab is only available if you are a system administrator.
  • When you edit a library, it will be copied into the customs/complibs folder.
  • You can also select System | Libraries | Libraries.
