Edit the Framing Tool of a Layer

You can edit the the framing tool of the same layers in one or more structures. The structure can be a panel (wall, floor or roof panel) or a floor or roof (expand layers).

1. Select a structure and a layer.

2. Do either of the following:
   • Select Plane Structure | Framing | Framing Tools.
   • Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu, and select Framing Tools.
3. Change or edit the tool.
   • Add or change the layer tool.

   • Edit the tool parameters in the dialog box.

     Main Frame of a Wall

     Wall Sheathing

     Horizontal Battens

     Frame - Wall Sub Frame

     Frame - Floor or Ceiling

     Sheathing

     Cladding

     Beam Combiner

Then, add the parts again and update the panel drawings. The program prompts you to update the panel drawing when you open the drawing.
