Updating Details from the DesignStream System

You can update project details from the DesignStream system when you open the project and are logged into the DesignStream system. Each detail is updated to the latest approved version saved in the DesignStream system.

When opening the project, the program asks: "Do you want to update details to latest version in current project?" Select either of the following:

• Yes - All project drawings are checked for details. If a detail is found, the program checks whether the DesignStream system contains a newer, approved version of the detail. If a newer version exists, it is updated in the project.
• No - Project details are not checked nor updated.

You can also update the details when creating a new project. A new project is based either on a template project or an existing project, and they can contain details which have newer versions in the DesignStream system.
