Rooms

The program will automatically form rooms based on the walls in the floor plan and calculate the floor area when the Automatic rooms setting has been enabled. If the settings is disabled, you can define the rooms by clicking the limiting walls or lines.

You can edit the room label and color fill by double-clicking the label.

You can calculate a selected area or the surface areas of the flats and total floor area for each floor.

You can enable the 3D presentation of rooms to display the room volumes in the model.

The Vertex BD Architectural and Pro products also include functions for editing materials, calculating opening area and determining a certain limit height in buildings with a slanted ceiling.
