Selecting a Roof/Ceiling

When you want to select the ceiling limiting the truss area in the model window, you can hide the geometry of the roof as follows:

1. Select Selection Filter from the tool strip.
2. Select Ceilings in the dialog box, and clear the selection of Roofs.
3. Click the OK button. The geometry of the roof is hidden from the model and you can click the ceiling.

Similarly, you can hide the geometry of the ceiling. The geometry of both object types is restored in the model window, when you have added the truss area and quitted the function by pressing Esc.
