Generating Panel Breaks According to Existing Framing Lines

Generate the panel breaks according to the existing framing lines in the floor plan drawing by using the Classic Wall Framing | Wall Panelizing | Generate Panels Generate Panel Breaks Using Frame Lines function. You can use the function when you have edited the walls with the Framing Line Functions so that they deviate from the architectural plan. Otherwise, the panel breaks can be generated with the function Generating Panel Breaks.

The program will automatically generate the wall panel breaks, taking into account the design rules determined in the project parameters, the attributes of a single wall and the macros added on the floor plan drawing that determine the positioning of the studs and the panel breaks.

Procedure of Creating Panel Breaks

• The wall shape determines the shape of the panels.
• After generating the panel breaks, save the project with the function > Save Project. Save the project again after generating the panel drawings. At this point, the stud locations will be saved in the floor plan drawing and all the panel data will be saved in the panel attributes.
