Alignment Point Visibility

You can define the location of different elevation views and other drawings, for example text drawings, on the elevation drawing sheet using alignment points. If you add an alignment point to the floor plan only in the purpose of aligning the floor plan on the drawing sheet, you can hide the alignment point from the elevation and section views by selecting the point's geometry to be visible only in the 2D drawing. In this case, the alignment point's geometry is not displayed in the elevation and section views generated from the 3D model. Change the visibility of the alignment point as follows:

1. Select the alignment point in the floor plan drawing.
2. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
3. Select Presentation > 2D only.
