Sub Projects
Sub Projects
Sub Projects is an add-on feature to the software. For example, sub projects can be used for planning terraced houses or blocks of flats by using a separate sub project for each flat in a terraced house or each floor in a block of flats.
A sub project is a project whose drawing-model pair can be referred to from an active main project. The drawing-model pair of a sub project is added to the active main project as a reference drawing-model pair. You cannot edit the sub project in the main project to which you added it, but you need to open it for editing using a separate function.
In these instructions, the project to which the sub project is added is referred to as the "main project".
When you open the main project, the sub projects are opened in the state they were in when you last saved the main project. At opening, the program checks whether the geometry of the sub project, materials collected to the components.xml file, panel drawings or part drawings are up-to-date, and you can choose what information you want to update.
