Update a Building Group Model from the DesignStream System

Updating a building group model from the DesignStream system may be necessary when you have retrieved a copy of the building group model from the server to a local building archive and added the building to a main model. Another user may check out the building group model from the server and make changes to it. Such changes will not be automatically updated in a building in a local archive. You can update the building group model by deleting it from the local building archive as follows:

  1. Select Archives | Buildings | Maintenance Delete.
  2. Select the building to be deleted from the list.

  3. Confirm by clicking OK.
  4. Confirm building deletion by selecting Yes in the message box.

When you open the main model next time, the building group model will be recopied from the server.
