Generating Panel Drawings

You can create separate drawing files, panel drawings, of selected panels. The panel drawing includes the front projection of the panel, the top projection (section), dimensions and piece lists. The viewing direction of the front projection (inside or outside the wall) is defined in the settings. The program will generate the panel drawings in sequential order. The panel drawings are saved in the building folder with the name PANEL.##.vxp.

1. Do either of the following:
   • Select Classic Wall Framing | Generate Elevation.
   • Select the function in the building's document browser:
     1. Move the cursor on the title Structural drawings / Wall panels.
     2. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
     3. Select Generate Panel Elevations.
2. You can limit the number of walls selected by choosing a basic wall type. Select a type from the additional menu.
   • Select Exterior Wall - When the function is selected, you can select exterior walls.
   • Select Interior Wall - When the function is selected, you can select interior walls.
   • Select All of Same Type - When the function is selected, you can select all walls of the same type by clicking one wall of the desired type. The walls are of the same type when they have the same parameters. Either of the basic wall types must be selected at the same time.
3. Select the wall or walls. If you selected the function Select All of Same Type, click one wall of the desired type. All the other walls of the same type become selected at once.
4. Select Confirm.
5. Save the building.
