Edit a Truss Drawing

You can edit the truss drawing in the same way as a wall, floor or roof panel drawing, for example in the following ways:

  • Move the labels of the pieces by using the grip points.
  • Add a view to the drawing.

  • Edit the properties of the views as follows:
    1. Select the view.
    2. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
    3. Select Properties.

  • Add a dimension line to the view. The dimension line is selected from a database in which the truss dimension lines have been named with a TRUSS prefix.

Note:
  • The truss projection in the truss drawing is a part enlargement. You can show or hide the limits of the part enlargement area as follows:
    1. Select > Preferences Drawings, Models.
    2. Select the View tab.
    3. Select or clear Drawing: Show Detail View Limits.
