Print Documents of the Building in the Document Browser

You can print the documents of the open building in the following way:

  1. Move the cursor on a main title in the document browser, for example Architectural documents.
  2. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
  3. Select List view.

    You can browse the documents in a dialog box. You can sort the documents by clicking the headers in the list box. When you select a document in the list box, a preview image displays the contents of the document. You can switch off the preview image by clearing the Preview check box.

  4. Select the documents you want to print in the list box. You can select several documents with the Ctrl key pressed down.

    Select documents which you can print with the same settings, for example on a sheet of the same size.

  5. Click the Print button in the dialog box.
  6. Select the print settings in the Print Queue dialog box.
    • Select the printer. When you want to print the queue to a PDF file, you can select either of the following printer:
      • PDF - The entire queue is printed to a single PDF file.
      • PDF_SEPARATE - Each drawing is printed to a PDF file of its own.
    • Select the sheet size and scale.
    • Select the layers to be printed by clicking the Layers to print button.
  7. Confirm by clicking OK.
  8. If you selected to print to a PDF file, do either of the following:
    • PDF printer: Select the save folder and type the file name in the Windows Save As dialog box.
    • PDF_SEPARATE printer: Type the name of the folder in which the PDF files will be saved in the text box.
Note:
  • You can also print a single document as follows:
    1. Move the cursor on the document.
    2. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
    3. Select Print.
