Contents of the Building Document Browser

All the documents of the building are presented in the building’s document browser.

Drawing-model Pairs

The drawing-model pairs used in the architectural, structural or sketch design of the building can be found under following headings:

• Architectural Design
  • The architect model MODEL.vxm
  • Drawing files connected to the architect model, such as 1st floor wall layout, Roof, Foundation, etc.
• Structural Design
  • The framing model FRAMING.vxm
  • Drawing files connected to the framing model, for example First floor walls, First floor floor, Roof, etc.

Open a drawing-model pair by double-clicking the name of the drawing file.

Views

The model views saved as view points can be found under this heading. Open a view in the model window by double-clicking the name of the view point. You can also save new view points or create new views.

Connected Documents

Documents created with another application and then connected to the building can be found under this heading, for example xls files. Open the document by double-clicking its file name. The document is opened in the application determined by the file extension.
