Edit Library Contents

You can edit the content of the customer-specific libraries. All the components in the library open for editing in a database view.

  1. Open the library browser by selecting System | Libraries | Libraries.
  2. Select Custom libraries.
  3. Select a library type, for example Materials / Structural sheets. You will see the libraries in the right side browser pane.
  4. Select a library.
  5. Right-click to open the context-sensitive menu.
  6. Select Edit library content.
  7. Edit the properties in the database view.
Note: You can edit customer-specific component libraries, which have their own user interface for editing the library and selecting the component, by selecting Edit library from the right-click menu. Such libraries include wall, floor, roof, label, panel template drawing and Excel report libraries. See Open a Library for Editing.
Note:
  • System tab is only available if you are a system administrator.
  • Users other than the system administrator can access building-specific libraries.
