Cable Harness Manufacturing - Concepts
The cable harness manufacturing concepts have the following meanings:

| Branch symbol | Cable Route Branch |
| Cable branch, Ending cable branch | Cable harness part continuing from the end of a cable route. Ending cable branch, a branch that diverges no more. For example a contact pin symbol is attached to an ending branch. |
| Cable joint | A joint, a component located on the cable route. |
| Cable route | The part of cable harness between branches. Connection line in the table drawing. |
| Contact pin reference | List of cables attached to a contact pin (with a contact pin symbol). |
| Contact pin symbol | A symbol describing the contact pin (type 304) (contact pin references are attached to a symbol). |
| Contact pin symbol | End symbol, a symbol describing the ending cable branch (type 87). |
