Cursor when Selecting Geometry
With the program in the basic mode, select a geometry element, and perform a function on it. The cursor is an arrow. The snap point of the cursor is at the tip of the arrow .
The cursor searches for geometry on a larger area than the snap point. You can define the snap area in relation to the cursor size. The snap properties have been defined in the general drawing and modeling settings.
The appearance of the cursor near or over a geometry element is as follows:
Face | |
Line | |
Point To the center point inside a circle or an arc, and outside to a line. |
|
Assembly part | |
A volume, guide curve, cross section, plane
Projection of a model in the drawing

The geometry elements vary from application to application.
Move the cursor near or to the element. If you have enabled the marking of elements before selecting them, the color of the element inside the snap area of the cursor will change. Click the left mouse button.
