Edit the Part Data of a Drawing

Open all part data defined in the drawing to edit. You can edit and, if necessary, delete data.

The part number is kept even if part data is deleted. You can select an existing item from the item database and link it to the part data.

1. On the tab, in the Mechanical group, select Parts List, and select Edit All Attribute Databases of Certain Type. Not applicable to a model drawing.
2. Edit the material data on the tabs of the database window.
3. You can link an existing item to part data as follows:
   1. Select the item in the Label field.
   2. Enter the class selection data in the window, and confirm the data.
   3. Select an item whose data you want to link to the part. The selected item is placed in the Label field of material data.
   4. Click Link.
4. You can create a new item by selecting New.
   1. Select one of the following:
      • Confirm an existing item as the basis for the new item data by clicking the Yes button. Select an existing item using class selection data.
      • Create a new item by pressing the No button.
   2. Fill in the label of the new item.
   3. Fill in the item data.
   4. Confirm the item data.
   5. Link the item to a profile part or a component.
5. Save the data.
