Automatic Saving

Vertex will automatically save any open documents which have been edited after a certain period of time has passed since the last save.

Backup is created by specific times, also in the following cases.

If you do not use Vertex
When the Vertex window is minimized by the window button Minimize .

Documents which have not been modified after the last autosave will not be automatically saved again.

For example, if several working windows are open in Vertex, and you stop working in order to do something else, all open documents which have not been saved but have been edited will be automatically saved after a certain period of time.

The safe file will be generated by autosave. Open the file by selecting the function Open Workfile.

Note:

You can edit the autosave interval with the auto_save_int keyword in the draft keyword group. Define the interval in seconds.
