Import Project

The function uncompresses a VXZ file that has been compressed by using the Vertex function Export Model With Drawings. The function adds the projects it contains, including their data, to the archive system.

If a project, archive document or file with the same name as one of the imported files already exists, you can select from the file which data to import to this software.

1. On the tab, in the Projects group, click Import.
2. Select the folder from which you want to open the file.
3. Click Open or double-click a file name.
   • The project data is imported if files with the same name does not already exist in the system. The program notifies you when the import is finished. Click the OK button.
   • If the VXZ file contains files with the same name that already exist in the system, select the files to be imported by using the dialog box functions.

4. Click OK.
