Print Parts of a Local Assembly in the Parts List

The parts will be included in the main level parts list if the following definitions have been made for the subassembly. You can also do this to a pattern in an assembly.

1. Change a subassembly as a local.
   • Select the subassembly from the assembly tree and select the Change Part function.
   • Click Local/Link in the dialog box.
   • Click OK.
2. In the assembly properties, define the data being collected on the parts list.
   • Select the local subassembly in the assembly tree, or select the Pattern from the assembly tree.
   • Select Properties.
   • Select Explode to parts list.
   • Click OK.
3. Output the parts list of the assembly by selecting the Collect Parts List function in the model window.
